Laser Hair Removal
The pigment is located and targeted within the hair follicle. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle and retards the hair follicle and its regrowth. Being that the pigment is targeted, blond, red, white or grey hair is ineffective for laser treatment. In these cases, electrolysis may be recommended.
How many treatments are needed?
At least 5 treatments (average 5-8) may be necessary depending on the area you wish to have treated. Age, ethnicity, hormones, medication, and metabolism all may affect your hair’s location, thickness, and resilience. Hair grows in phases and not all follicles are actively growing at the same time, therefore treatments are scheduled according to the growth cycle of that area (typically every 4-10 weeks).
Does it Hurt?
Our laser has its own cooling mechanism, along with the zimmer chiller which has a constant flow of cold air, therefore minimizing discomfort. You may still experience a slight snapping sensation. The treatment is quick and usually tolerated well. Anesthetic cream is available for purchase if you find it necessary. You may have some redness or swelling following treatment, which usually subsides within a few hours.
Is it Permanent?
Although no laser removal can be termed “permanent”, long term clinical studies concluded that 92% of patients have long term hair loss following treatment with our technology. Recurring hairs were shown to be thinner and lighter than they were previously. Periodic “touch-ups” or maintenance may be required.
Are there pretreatment instructions?
YES. It is most important that you follow the pretreatment instructions. No tanning for four to six weeks prior to laser treatment. You must disclose to us whether you have tanned. This includes sun exposure, tanning bed, or chemical tanner. This disclosure must come prior to every treatment. Problems may occur if this disclosure is not made.

IPL Photo Facial
This treatment is like a boost of energy to your epidermis. Photo facial treatments are intense pulsed light used to penetrate your skin on the deepest levels to break up hyperpigmentation (brown spots) and vascular abnormalities (red skin) It is safely performed on the face, hands, and décolleté. Treatments typically last 30 minutes and are done 3 weeks apart. 5-8 treatments are usually recommended.
Fractional Skin Resurfacing
Fractional Skin Resurfacing is a technology that rejuvenates the skin and offers minimal recovery time and low risk of complications. The energy delivered to the skin is fragmented (imagine pixels on a tv screen) so the skin’s ability to heal after treatment is expedited. This treatment causes your body to produce new collagen and connective tissue thus creating healthier and smoother skin. This treatment is best for acne scars, surgical scars, stretch marks, and fine lines. 5-8 treatments are usually recommended.
